This calculator will calculate your BMI based on your height and weight. The BMI is a very imprecise estimate of whether or not you are overweight. If you are an athlete with a large amount of muscle mass, you can have a higher BMI without being considered overweight.

Here is a rough guide to what your BMI means:

  • BMI less than 18.5 - Underweight
  • BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 - Healthy
  • BMI between 25 and 29.9 - Overweight
  • BMI over 30 - Obese
