Mayo Clinic Promotes "Pay for Value" Health Care
The Mayo Clinic is proposing a "pay for value" system of health care rather than the standard" pay for performance". What's the difference? Basically, it takes costs into consideration. In the "pay for value" method, reimbursement would be made based on overall satisfaction and costs. More can be found here.
